No open roles. Still worth talking.

Yammbo is a one-founder operation. There are no open roles right now. If you build software end-to-end, you have opinions you can defend, and you'd want to be the second person on the team when the time comes, drop a line. The conversation is worth it even if there's no role today.

Who we'd want to work with.

Not a checklist of years-of-experience-in-X. Four traits we'd look for in the next person to join.

BUILDER

You build things end-to-end

Backend, frontend, database, deploy, monitoring: you can hold the whole stack in your head. Specialization is fine, but you don't throw work over walls.

OPINIONATED

You have opinions about software

You've read books and shipped products. You can defend a design choice without quoting trends. You disagree out loud, in writing.

OPERATOR

You've run something real

You've been on call. You've replied to a customer at midnight because the POS froze. You've seen software break in ways the tutorial didn't cover.

PROXIMITY

You write Spanish well

Or you're willing to. Yammbo is Spanish-first; the product surface, the docs, the customer conversations all live there. English is fluent but not the home base.

What working here actually looks like.

Honest about what we're not. If any of these are dealbreakers, that's a useful self-filter: better both sides know now.

No equity ladder

We're too small to pretend we have a 4-year vesting cliff and a 1-year cliff and the rest. If we ever offer equity, it's real ownership in real terms, negotiated case by case.

No PR-friendly perks

No catered lunch, no nap pods, no mindfulness stipend. We pay fair cash, we respect time off, we don't schedule meetings during weekends. That's the perks list.

You see what the founder sees

No information asymmetry. The metrics are open inside the company; the customer roster is open; the bank balance is open. You make decisions with the same data as the founder.

High variance, high context

A small team means you're close to customers, close to the product, close to the consequences. Faster decisions, smaller blast radius for mistakes, more interesting work, and no place to hide.
